Role DescriptionSpencer Hall - State Farm Agent is searching for a competitive Producer who can recognize opportunities and strategically turn leads into long-lasting customer relationships. As our Insurance Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member, your knowledge of insurance products and industry trends equips you to communicate directly with clients, identify their needs, and market products or services that maximize value. You may also assist in developing strategies and establishing quotas for our agency.   • Soliciting insurance and financial service accounts to new customers by preforming the following
    • Making marketing contacts to leads both provided by the agency and found through referral.
    • Using marketing practices that will be provided in initial training to best identify customer need.
    • Identify opportunities for additional insurance products or lines that a customer may not have initially inquired about.
    • Performing appointment-based processes to complete onboarding of new customers.
    • Performing appointment-based processes to analyze and identify potential insurance gaps for customers.
    • Recommending insurance and financial service-related products to fill potential gaps and needs for customers.
    • Complete underwriting follow-through for all new policies written.
    • Foster new relationships for the agency by connecting with our client base and making them feel at home with not only yourself but our agency.
    • Solicit all products that you are licensed to provide for our customers when appropriate.
  • Secondary in service to existing customers
    • When customers walk-in to the agency there may be times where you will help take care of simple service tasks such as paying a bill or explaining coverage.
    • Answering inbound customer requests – there may be times when your assistance is needed in answering inbound requests for service. This is expected to be few and far between.
Additional NotesIn this role you will utilize your sales skills and abilities in insurance and financial services to further grow our agency customer base. Our agency provides leads for account reps to work. We utilize needs based selling methods to appeal to our customers, as well as relationship centered customer appointments to deepen our relationships with customers, as well as to deepen the customers understanding of their insurance and financial service products and their needs.Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in sales ability
  • Proficiency working with a variety of computer applications/websites, role is very heavily computer based
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail.
Qualifications and Educational Preferences
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
  • One year of sales experience required, two years of sales experience preferred.
  • Insurance sales experience preferred
  • Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance producer licensing.

Compensation $56,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
